Here it is! The second Zelda Month song! I wanted to do something from Link’s Awakening, and I also wanted to include the classic theme everyone thinks of when they think ZELDA! So, I decided to do one of the coolest overworld songs in the franchise, the overworld from Link’s Awakening.

Es ist wieder soweit! Zum fünften Mal findet an diesem Wochenende der jährliche NES Marathon mit Pat Contri und seinem Kumpel Ian statt. 24 Stunden lang zocken die beiden alle möglichen NES-Spiele, stellen sich den Herausforderungen des Publikums, und sammeln dabei Spendengelder für Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Natürlich gibt es auch diverse Preise zu gewinnen und Milestones freizuschalten. Für Hardcore-Nostalgiker werden zwischendurch alte Nintendo-Werbespots eingespielt. Wenn genug Geld zusammenkommt, gibt es sogar ein exklusives AVGN-Video zu sehen.

I could say that I’m posting this because Nintendogs + Cats is finally on the eShop today, but no, I just love this photo from Hydie so onto the blog it goes.
New Shining Resonance info from this week’s Famitsu.
Here we see Sonia in a brand new outfit. As it turns out, when the characters go into B.A.N.D mode to perform a song in-battle, their costumes often changed based on their position/what song is being played. Sonia’s dress-look happens when she’s placed in the center position of the group.
Similarly, Kilika’s outfit changes colors/patterns based on the song she’s singing.
And as usual, the character models in Shining Resonance continue to look wonderful, Tony Taka design be damned. It’s amazing how much they look like 2D characters.
