This week’s Tales of Berseria feature courtesy of Famitsu. Eizen is totally not the older brother of a certain Tales of Zesteria character. Definitely not.
Say hello to your party of playable characters. They look like a bunch of jackasses, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Dragon Quest scans from Weekly Famitsu 6/11
This week’s Jump has a bit of coverage and new images focusing on Final Fantasy XV. This time we’ve a look at parts of the game’s battle system that will be available in the upcoming Episode Duscae demo including attacking, parrying and dodging certain abilities. Noctis can be seen wielding a dragoon’s spear as he executes a counter against an enemy. The article points out that the combat actions constantly change depending on the environment around Noctis. The system will be based on the use of desired skills, defensive techniques such as parries or outright blocks, as well as evasion and teleportation abilities. You’ll also be able to fight against small and big enemies alike while exploring through vast areas, such as the massive behemoth, which was also seen in the recent trailer. (source)
Great Tales of Zestiria illustration showing off the main cast.
Please be good.
Theatrhythm Dragon Quest scans from Famitsu 1/15
The Tales of Zestiria pages from this week’s Dengeki Playstation. No super new information here. Just a lot of stuff we’ve known for a while.
There will be a UFOtable animated special anime airing on TV in japan on 12/30 though. So that’s something.
New Shining Resonance info from this week’s Famitsu.
Here we see Sonia in a brand new outfit. As it turns out, when the characters go into B.A.N.D mode to perform a song in-battle, their costumes often changed based on their position/what song is being played. Sonia’s dress-look happens when she’s placed in the center position of the group.
Similarly, Kilika’s outfit changes colors/patterns based on the song she’s singing.
And as usual, the character models in Shining Resonance continue to look wonderful, Tony Taka design be damned. It’s amazing how much they look like 2D characters.
